The Veritas winery is situated on the slopes of the Fruška Gora Mountain bordered by the Danube River, in the village of Sremski Karlovci, on the road towards Stražilovo. Surrounded by vineyard, it is unique in its neighborhood in terms of its position and architecture.
Veritas is a family boutique winery established in 2010. Our goal is to produce high-quality wine of grapes from our own vineyards. All vines are imported from France and planted at selected positions, subject to consultation with national and worldwide experts on the selected varieties. So far, we have 3ha of vineyards with varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
Produced 80% from Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% from Merlot. Dark ruby red color, complex scent - flowery, fruity, spicy, fulfilled with oak. Its taste is full, harmonious, rounded between fruity sweetness, tannins and acids. Its finish is long, resembling coffee, chocolate and spices. Serving temperature. 16-18 C. Food pairing: game and spicy dishes.
Produced 100% from sifted Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, without pressing. It is crystal clear, with seductively red color. Its scent is fruity, with herbal addition. Its taste is harmonious, mildly full. Serving temperature: 10-12°C. Food pairing: cold and warm appetizers, fish, poultry, pork and barbecue.
Produced 100% from Cabernet Sauvignon. Ruby red color, of scent characteristic for the variety, which resembles blueberry, violet and eucalyptus with a hint of minerals. Semi-full body, good tannin structure, harmonized with fresh acids. Serving temperature: 16-18° C. Food pairing: spicy sauces and cheeses
Produced 100% from Sauvignon Blanc. It has a light golden yellow color, herbal and fruity scent, while its taste is mildly full, smooth, with pronounced freshness given to it by a harmony of vibrant acids and citrusy aroma. Serving temperature: 8-10° C. Food pairing: white cheeses, fish, seafood and light meat.
Produced from 100 % Merlot. The wine is of ruby red color, and its scent resembles fresh fruit, mushrooms and mint. Its taste is light, drinkable and well balanced with silky tannins and slightly long finish. Serving temperature: 16-18° C. Food pairing: barbecue, red meat and steak.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon (silver medal Decanter, London 2015, gold medal AWC Vienna 2015, silver medal BIWC Sofia 2015). The wine is of dark ruby red color. Its scent is intriguing and resembles ripe blackberry. Its infinite layers of flavor are supported by firm tannins. Lively spikes of eucalyptus and laurel pierce the blackberry and blackcurrant. Mint intertwines with elegant and subtle waves of oak through a coffee finish.
