About Winery

Kosović Winery is situated in the village of Sremski Karlovci, in the Province of Vojvodina, on the Fruška Gora Mountain. Given its location, the winery produces wine, rakija (grape brandy) and Bermet wine from its own grapevine plantations.

Given that we produce wine from our own vineyards, we are also winegrowers.

Kosović Winery has the wine cellar Lagum dug into the Kalvarija Hill. It also possesses premises where it offers its wine collection and may host up to 50 visitors, as well as another hall for up to 80 visitors.


White wines: Sauvignon Blanc, Italian Riesling, Chardonnay
Red wine: Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon

Merlot is a French grape variety, which is successfully grown on the Fruška Gora Mountain, including Sremski Karlovci.

Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon is a French grape variety, which is successfully grown on the Fruška Gora Mountain and gives high-quality wine.


Crni Bermet

Crni Bermet is an aromatized aperitif wine very appreciated by the consumers. Bermet has made Sremski Karlovci famous back in the days, and affected many important events in the history of Serbian people, and particularly the people of Vojvodina. Bermet was consumed on the Viennese court, and a couple of bottles were found on the sunken ship Titanic. In Sremski Karlovci there exist several Bermet wines. Each winery has its own recipe, which is not disclosed to anyone and is kept secret. Crni Bermet (red Bermet) is a traditional beverage. Kosović Winery produces Bermet from 3 grape varieties with 17% alcohol, with sweet and aromatic scent.


Beli Bermet

Beli Bermet (White Bermet) is an aromatic wine of the new generation. White Bermet from the Kosović Winery is produced from 3 white grape varieties with 17% alcohol and a sweet flavor.


Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc is a French white grape variety. It is characterized by fruity aroma, freshness and scent. It is very popular on the domestic market.



Chardonnay is one of the most renowned wine varieties in the world. It is believed to have been named after the French village of Chardonnay. DNK analysis has confirmed that Chardonnay originates, as many other varieties, from crossbreeding of Pinot and Gouais Blanc.
