Mrđanin Winery has been engaged for five generations in grapevine cultivation and winemaking on the Fruška Gora Mountain, in the village of Sremski Karlovci, in the Cerat area. According to the family legend, the first vine was planted in mid-19th century. The vineyards are situated at 220-250m above sea level and render a fantastic view overlooking a half of the Bačka region. Nowadays, Mrđanin Winery owns 9.5 hectares of vineyards and produces approximately 60,000 liters of wine, while it strives to expand its vineyards and increase the winery capacities. Mrđanin Winery places a particular emphasis on the indigenous varieties such as Probus, Sila and Italian Riesling (SK54), while it also grows the international ones - Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc.

Probus wine has a characteristic pleasant scent and a highly intense color, harmonious flavor and richness. It rested in oak barrels. It is a perspective variety for high-quality red wines. It accompanies excellently the red meat and game dishes, strong fish, all spicy dishes and blue cheeses.

This wine is of ruby-red color, with pronounced fruity aromas. It has a full flavor, elegance, roundedness, harmoniousness and well-balanced acids and tannins. It ripened in oak barrels. It accompanies excellently the red meat dishes, strong fish, pasta with heavy sauces, ripe cheeses.

One of the most popular white wines in the world. The wine is of greenish-yellow color and harbors a harmonious ratio of alcohol and acids, pleasant variety-related aromas and a full fruity flavor. This wine is best at accompanying fine entrees, main courses made of white meat, and particularly the spicy ones, fish, seafood, pizza all the way to fine cheeses and desserts.

This is one of the most appreciated wine varieties. It is of dark red color and mild flowery and fruity scent resembling violets and blackberry. Its flavor is full, rounded and harmonious, with nicely harmonized tannins. The wine aged in oak barrels. It is an excellent companion to red meat dishes, spicy sauces, smoked meat and strong cheeses, while it will also suit barbecued meat, prosciutto and strong sea fish.
